High-performance 1 AWG Type XHHW-2 600V/1000V aluminum building wire engineered for primary services, main feeders, and branch circuit wiring in commercial, industrial, and residential power distribution systems. Constructed with a 1 AWG compact soft-drawn AA-8000 series aluminum alloy conductor and insulated with 55 mils of abrasion-, heat-, and moisture-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). Approved for installation in conduit, recognized raceways, and open air in both wet and dry environments at continuous operating temperatures up to 90°C. Fully compliant with UL Standard 44 requirements, sunlight resistant, and RoHS/REACH compliant.
